Goodman is rapidly gaining a reputation as the UK’s leading provider of bespoke science and technology workspace. Working in partnership with prominent industry bodies and pioneering research and discovery companies, Goodman is spearheading development of two key sites which are at the forefront of the country’s infrastructure in this important and rapidly growing sector.

Colworth Science Park is a leading science and enterprise hub, developed by Goodman in conjunction with Unilever bringing together academia and life science companies to drive technology transfer and support economic growth. Goodman’s investment in the park, supported by funding from EEDA (East of England Development Agency), is enabling Cranfield University and the University of Cambridge to establish a presence on the campus in a new amenities centre. As part of this new phase of development, a new innovation centre is being developed which is providing a research facility for IFR Extra Ltd, part of the Institute of Food Research.

Harwell Oxford is a joint venture between Goodman, the UK Atomic Energy Authority and the Science and Technology Facilities Council, is a global centre for science, technology and innovation, and global home for space research. In March 2010, the Government announced the establishment of a £40 million international space centre at Harwell, where the European Space Agency is already based. The 300-acre campus is provides laboratory and office space for over 4,500 people, representing 130 organisations ranging from large-scale research companies to rapidly growing start up businesses.
